Dr. Kaufman practices general orthopedic surgery with an emphasis on sports medicine, osteoporosis and the arthroscopic management of knee disorders. A large part of his practice involves shoulder and other joint injuries and treatment of arthritis of the knee and shoulder. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Dr. Kaufman is well published in medical journals and has written textbook chapters. He is a section editor for Orthopedics Today and a consultant editor of The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

Dr. Kaufman continues to be an investigator for clinical trials conducted in the Santa Clarita office.
